The core focus of the Digital Strategist will be to devise, implement, manage, and analyse strategic plans for digital campaigns across our client portfolio. You will work alongside our Account & Creative teams to set strategies, campaigns, and targets and serve as a digital knowledge source for clients. The successful candidate will have the innate ability to communicate strategies to clients at all levels of digital understanding. Working closely across our portfolio you will ensure that the strategy behind each campaign is working in sync and content and paid plans optimised across platforms to achieve or exceed the client’s KPIs. This role will give you access to work with clients across Edelman’s global network as well as in the local market and provide significant opportunities for future growth. 

Typical Activities 

  • Developing a deep understanding of audience needs and digital touch points and knowing how to build strategies that connect across them. 

  • Acting as a strong client partner to support their strategic needs across digital  

  • Supporting the development of junior digital team members  

  • Devising and implementing paid campaigns across social, search and programmatic advertising  

  • Analysing and reporting on campaign results  

Skills Required 

  • In-depth knowledge of digital communications  

  • In-depth knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads, Instagram Ads, YouTube ads, LinkedIn ads and Google Ads. 

  • In-depth knowledge of Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and other reporting software. 

  • Strong oral, written and presenting skills.  

  • Ability to collaborate with team and interface with clients.

Typical Activities

  • Work with the Edelman team to interpret client requests, identify the problem to solve and help shape the response.
  • Be the day-to-day contact for clients.

  • Identify and manage external partnerships (including influencers and content creators) to enhance client plans.
  • Track campaign performance.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are recruiting a senior corporate consultant to deliver international/ multi market reputation programmes for key clients. The successful candidate will be Associate Director or Account Director level, dependent on experience, advising clients on international as well as domestic communications strategies and devising and executing creative, fully integrated brand-building programmes.

THE ROLE

Edelman Ireland is looking for an experienced corporate communications professional with sharp strategic advisory capability, proven client management experience at a senior level, and excellent corporate writing and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have worked in agency or in an in-house corporate communications role. Experience overseeing international communications strategies in multiple geographic markets and advising public companies is an advantage.

You will support account leads to drive Edelman’s integrated communications offering, acting as a primary point of contact for international and domestic clients. You will shape all aspects of corporate strategy for these clients, including: developing creative, fully integrated campaign concepts and overseeing execution across earned, owned and paid; driving media relations strategy c-suite positioning and thought leadership; and advising on issues and crisis management.

SKILLS

The successful applicant will have:

  • Proven ability to provide strategic counsel to senior management
  • Excellent writing skills

  • Experience of managing multi market / international client campaigns

We are recruiting a B2B & Corporate Editor to deliver ambitious and creative editorial content for our B2B clients – from text to video and more – that provides insights, and drives awareness and demand. Can you provide senior creative and editorial counsel to clients to help them shape their storytelling and thought leadership? We want you to bring your journalistic mindset to help our B2B clients tell their stories.  

THE ROLE

Edelman Ireland is looking for a senior editorial content creator with excellent writing skills. Ideally the candidate will have a journalistic background and will have worked in agency or in an in-house corporate communications or B2B role.  The ideal candidate will have client management experience at a senior level.

While you may be expected to work across a broad range of sectors, we are looking for people who have a specialisation in B2B/corporate writing, with a good understanding of the global economy, sustainability, and the international water, engineering and construction sectors.  

You will support account leads to drive Edelman’s content offering for multi market / international B2B client campaigns, all the way from supporting the editorial process, developing creative ideas, liaising with clients, and writing high-quality copy to tight deadlines.  This will include web copy, content for C-suite leaders including speeches and op-eds, press releases and thought leadership papers.

SKILLS

You will have a strong creative and journalistic mindset, and plenty of experience as a storyteller and editor; you know how to explain the benefits and impact of B2B products to diverse stakeholders – creating content that cuts through with media (trade, business and mainstream news) and resonates with customers, investors, employees, general public and media. You can help clients to give their thought leadership clarity and impact and create compelling executive narratives.

You have the editorial experience to support and counsel both account teams and clients on the best editorial strategy – from the development of multi-channel editorial campaigns to shaping the key ideas and messaging for their thought leadership.

You will be an excellent writer who can generate ideas on how to tell a story – including advising on content, format and channels. Experience with video, social media and SEO will be an advantage. You will have experience either as a journalist and editor, or as a content-focused PR professional working on international accounts. We want to see concrete examples of how your feature ideas have translated into media and digital coverage. A passion for social media is essential.

Responsibilities include:

    • Creative storytelling and content development
    • Editorial leadership on international B2B client campaigns
    • Producing a broad range of editorial content, both short form and long form, including social posts
    • Editing of content provided by clients and outside editorial contributors
    • Copywriting of by-lines, white papers, press releases etc
    • Developing creative plans to promote products and services to the target audiences of our clients through PR and digital routes
    • Helping our clients to shape their corporate narratives
